For example: if you want your figure to go on page 77, find the place in the text, where page 76 ends. Insert a \clearpage command there. This command will force LaTeX to insert all the floats (figures and tables) that werent printed yet to be printed before any other text is processed.
If you want your image to span over the full page, you need to choose either the textwidth or textheight command. Choose wisely, so your image does not overfill your page. By the way, I would leave the command paperwidth out, since you probably want to have a bit of a buffer zone, so that the printout is correct.
Use \textwidth for the width of the text block, and \paperwidth if you want to fit it into the paper width. You could also use \linewidth if you want to fit the image within the line width, which may vary depending on the environment youre in (for example, within a list like enumerate ).
Simply use \usepackage[export]{adjustbox} and \includegraphics[max size={\textwidth}{\textheight}]{} . This is very useful also for cases where \includegraphcs is somehow involved, but not directly available for passing keyword arguments to it.
use \begin{figure}[tb] for figures that fit well in a page with text (say, half of the text height for the figure and the other half for the text) use \begin{figure}[p] for floats large enough to require a dedicated page.
In LaTeX figures, one can use \textwidth and \columnwidth to specify sizes of the graphic relative to the size of surrounding text, e.g. \includegraphics[width=. 5\textwidth]{myimage} .

And enter graphics Speltz with an X after the C instead of an s. Into the curly brackets.
Use the scale=1.5 option in the \includegraphics command to resize the image to 150% of its original size. That is, \includegraphics[width=50mm,scale=1.5]{method. eps}. You can use a different percentage if needed.
In order to include a figure, you must use the \includegraphics command. It takes the image width as an option in brackets and the path to your image file. As you can see, I put \linewidth into the brackets, which means the picture will be scaled to fit the width of the document.
