A recipient is the name of the person receiving the message. For example, you are the recipient of all e-mails you receive. If you are sending an e-mail message, the recipient is the e-mail address you enter into the To field.
How to add recipients to an e-mail In the Recipients or To field of your e-mail composition, type the e-mail address of a recipient. Type a comma (,) or semicolon (;) after the e-mail address, depending on your e-mail client. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional recipient you want to add to the e-mail.
An email recipient is an individual who has opted-in to receive email from either an individual or a business. If an individual receives an email from a business, the email recipient has likely signed up through the business website in order to receive information, alerts, and other business news.
Is there a way to CC a copy of an email which is already sent? You forward the email you sent to A@company.com to B@company.com. There is no other option.
Add multiple Cc recipients or Bcc recipients You can add multiple Cc and Bcc by separating them with comma. Add the recipients in a column called cc for Cc recipients and bcc for Bcc recipients. To add multiple recipients, Cc or Bcc, just separate them with comma.
If youre replying to an email and you add recipients to the thread (either in the To or CC field), be sure to call this out at the beginning of your email reply, e.g., +1 Baochi or adding Baochi. This is a courteous alert to your recipient(s) that additional people have been added to the conversation.
In the CC field, enter the mail addresses of the recipients wholl receive a copy of the email. Compose your message and hit Send. Both your primary recipient and the CCd person will receive the email.
Cc should be reserved for the following people. When you cc someone, you do not need to address them in the email greeting. Start the email by addressing only those included in the to field.
