Now were going to talk about Forms and Questionnaires. Go here to Evaluations and select Forms. Its super easy to create a form. Lets create a new one. Well call it Register bodyweight. Here on the right side are the tests or information fields that are in this form. Right now its empty. Down here you can add tests, information fields or training load. We want this to register bodyweight. We click Add Tests, this opens up the Test Collection. The Bodyweight test is here. I also want to include a question, so I click on Add Information, which opens up the Information Collection. I want to add a field where the athletes can write a little bit about how they feel. I dont have that item in my collection but I can create it on the fly right here. Ill use the Plain text option. Thats it, now I have a form ready to send it out. There are two ways of sending out forms. You can either here in this window, down here, click on this button. The green plus icon, to assign

How XPS works. X-rays (photons) are shot onto a sample, and when electrons in the sample absorb enough energy, they are ejected from the sample with a certain kinetic energy. The energy of those ejected electrons is analyzed by a detector and a plot of these energies and relative numbers of electrons is produced.
This data is computationally transformed into a binding-energy scale. The system then outputs a final spectrum contrasting binding energy (BE) with measured signal intensity, called a survey scan allowing for quantitative elemental composition determination.
First divide by the X-ray flux if you have used different X-ray energies for different spectra (more X-rays will give higher intensity XPS peaks). Then divide by the photoionization cross-section for the core level youre looking at it.
Quantitative XPS is the process of comparing two or more intensities in XPS spectra to determine the amount of material at the surface of a sample. These intensities may be from the same peak or different peaks in the same spectrum or the same set of peaks in different spectra.
Definition of Satellite Peak: The term Satellite Peak is used to identify Plasmons, Shake-ups, Energy Loss, and various Un-identified Peaks.
How to interpret the data it generates Peaks from the XPS spectra give relative number of electrons with a specific binding energy. The shorter the peak, the less electrons represented. The greater the binding energy, the greater the attraction of that electron to the nucleus.
XPS can measure elemental composition as well as the chemical and electronic state of the atoms within a material. XPS spectra are obtained by irradiating a solid surface with a beam of X-rays and measuring the kinetic energy of electrons that are emitted from the top 1-10 nm of the material.
The XP survey scan is an effective way to determine the identity of elements present on the surface of a material, as well as the approximate relative ratios of the elements detected. This has important implications for carbon nanomaterials, in which surface composition is of greatest importance in their uses.
