Lets check this out. Here I am in Microsoft Word, and I want to add page numbers to this document. To insert page numbers, up on the top tabs, lets click on the insert option. Over on the right-hand side, lets click on page number and here we see several different options. We can insert a page number at the top of the page and here we can left align it, center align it, or right align it, and if I scroll down, we see a number of different options. Change page setup of a Google Doc On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Docs app. Open a document. In the bottom right, tap Edit . In the top right, tap More . Tap Page setup. Select the setting you want to change: Orientation. Paper size. Page color. Make your changes.
Now highlight the page number at which you want to start the numbering. From the Header Footer Tools menu, unclick Link to Previous. With the number still highlighted, choose Page Number from the top menu, then select Format Page Numbers. Under Page Numbering, choose Start At and then select a starting number.
