welcome to open your first video I am Martin and in this video I will show you how to use notes footnotes and endnotes and how to edit them first a simple footnote lets say I hope Ive got the a dummy document with lorem ipsum Latin text just as an example lets say we want to add a footnote after the 3rd line well put the cursor there click my left mouse button there and well go to insert footnote you can choose if you want to be to be a footnote and note for now we want it to be fit enough food not we click OK and we move to the bottom of the page on first if thats a number for the footnotes entities first and you can type in your note this is a footnote there we go now if one go back to the place in the text play we were we just simply click on the number of the footnote and we go back you see it opens the gray variation thingy here that is the footnote now if you want to remove the footnote we can remove the text here but we cant remove the number thats because it is tied to

Select Insert Comment or right-click and select Insert Comment. The box shown in the figure below appears. Type the text of your comment in the box. Click outside the box to close it.
To add notes to a slide: In the Slides pane, select the slide to which you want to add notes. Switch to Notes view (click the tab in the main work area or select View Notes from the menu bar). Click in the text box showing Click to add notes and type or paste text or graphics as needed.
Inserting footnotes or endnotes To insert a footnote or endnote: Click right next to the text you want to reference. Click the footnote or endnote button from the Standard toolbar. The cursor will be moved to the footnote or endnote area, prompting you to type the text.
To insert a note in the text, place the cursor in the place the note refers to and select Insert Comment or press Ctrl + Alt + C. The anchor point of the note is connected by a dotted line to a box on the right-hand side of the page where you can type the text of the note.
Insert footnotes and endnotes Click where you want to reference to the footnote or endnote. On the References tab, select Insert Footnote or Insert Endnote. Enter what you want in the footnote or endnote. Return to your place in the document by double-clicking the number or symbol at the beginning of the note.
Alt+Ctrl+F to insert a footnote. Alt+Ctrl+D to insert an endnote.
Insert footnote directly To insert the footnote directly, choose Menu Insert ▸ Footnote and Endnote ▸ Footnote. You write the footnote text. You have now inserted a footnote directly.
To add a footnote go to menu Insert Footnote/Endnote and confirm OK.
