hey everybody this is Dean and welcome to photo blue today I thought Id show you how you can get uh image thumbnails for your raw image files in Microsoft Windows this works for Microsoft Windows 10 and for Microsoft Windows 11. so if you have a directory of raw files and youre just getting kind of a generic or a program uh icon for it and not the thumbnail itself this is how to fix it in this example um I have my raw image my default raw image viewer set to Microsoft photo which is the default viewer for Microsoft Windows you may have another program here depending on what program you use to edit your raw image files with or to view them with so if I double click on one of these icons now it opens up Microsoft photo and it wont even view the image because we have to add the raw image extension for it to view images and once we add that it will also create the thumbnails so Im going to show you how to do this and fix this problem youre going to go to the Microsoft store and your
