These instructions only work with a single page of code. Open the target document in Microsoft Word and place the cursor where the source code will appear. Select Insert. In the Text group, select Object. In the Object dialog box, select the Create New tab. In the Object type list, Select Microsoft Word Document.
What you can try doing is you can copy the code you want from lets say visual studio code. Once you have it copied, go to google docs, paste it, and change the background to full black and do some changes with the font. Copy your thing, and then paste it in pages!
Go to the Insert tab, click the Object drop-down arrow, and pick Object. On the Create New tab, select OpenDocument Text as the Object Type. Click OK. A new Word document will open for you to insert your code or command.
If you want to include a block of code in Canvas: Switch to the html editor in Canvas, found via the icon to the lower right of the Rich Content Editor. Use tags to surround your code. For the tag you can optionally add class=line-numbers. For the tag you should add class=language-python.
Go to Insert Text Box, and then select Draw Text Box. Click or tap in the document, and drag to draw the text box the size that you want. To add text to a text box, select inside the text box, and then type or paste text.
To add a code block: Edit a page or post, click Add Block or an insert point, then click Code. Open the block editor by clicking the pencil icon on the block. Add your code in the text field. If youre using the code block to display code snippets, switch the Display Source toggle on.
To view the source code of a website on a Mac using Chrome, navigate to the page you want and use the keyboard shortcut: Option+Command+U. You can also right-click on the page and select View Page Source from the dropdown menu.
Insert a text box in Office for Mac On the Insert menu, click Text Box. Click in your file where youd like to insert the text box, hold your mouse button down, then drag to draw the text box the size that you want. After youve drawn the text box click inside it to add text.
