hi im jim w6lg for ham radio basics welcome to my radio room here on wolf mountain lookout i was trying to figure out a different way to connect two antennas to one transceiver i usually have two yagis there are times when i point one one direction and the other yagi another direction i combine them through a vacuum relay that has a control box a 20 20 volt power supply in a series of fairly expensive vacuum relays and i was looking for a less expensive way to do that what you might think about is lets say you had a dipole ran north and south and a dipole that ran east and west and you want to talk to two friends and one is north and one is east hes going to be okay on one antenna but maybe you cant hear him on the other and so how do you combine those two antennas or maybe you have a vertical and a dipole and one guys stronger on the vertical the other guys stronger on the dipole how do you put those together and make it work or you may be net control and you need to hit differ
