- Ill be showing how a presenter can spotlight people in a Microsoft Teams meeting. (bell ringing) To get started, lets join a Teams meeting. Click join. (bright instrumental music) Okay, lets join the meeting. Now, first off, Im gonna open up the participants panel right here. Now, just to note, you need to be a presenter to be able to use the spotlight feature. So in this case, Im a presenter, and Im gonna highlight my name and click the dot, dot, dot, and now Im gonna choose spotlight me. Now, youre not gonna see this on my screen, but if you look in the lower right here, you see a little glowing band around me. So that means all the students in my class or all the people in your meeting only see me, and they focus on me. And thats great when youre really trying to focus the attention of the meeting on yourself. Now I can also spotlight someone else in the meeting. And so in this case, Im gonna go down to Chelsea. Now Im gonna click the dot, dot, dot, and Ill choose sp

Right-click on the persons video itself and select Spotlight from the menu (or Add spotlight, if someone else is already spotlighted). Or, select Show participants to see a list of everyone in the meeting.
There are several formatting options for messages. beneath the compose box. In this expanded view, select the text you want to format, then choose an option such as B, I, or U to bold, italicize, or underline the text.
Everyone in the meeting can begin annotating right away, and the red pen tool is selected by default. To begin annotating, choose one of the tools in the Whiteboard toolsetlike Sticky notesand start typing or drawing on the screen.
Change the font color Select the text that you want to change. On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the arrow next to Font Color, and then select a color. You can also use the formatting options on the Mini toolbar to quickly format text. The Mini toolbar appears automatically when you select text.
To format a message, tap Plus , then select Format where you can: Tap Bold to enter bold text. Tap Italic to enter italic text. Tap Underline to enter underlined text. Tap Highlighter to enter highlighted text. Tap Font Color to enter red text.
The editor lets you underline, italicize, or bold text. You can start new paragraphs (without accidentally hitting send), highlight text, change the color of text, or mark the message as important.
Go to Format Font Font. + D to open the Font dialog box. Select the arrow next to Font color, and then choose a color. Select Default and then select Yes to apply the change to all new documents based on the template.
Select the text you want to format. Click a formatting option. You can use the standard text formatting options, like bold, italic, and underline, as well as change the highlight color, text color, and font size. (Optional) Click the More Options button to view more formatting options.
