In this video tutorial, viewers learn how to create a Highlight Text question in Schoology. To begin, open the Questions tab and select Highlight Text from the Create Question column. Enter the question prompt with the highlighted text. Under Possible Responses, choose highlighting options: Paragraph, Sentence, or Word, and remove any undesired selections by clicking on them. Use Clear Highlights to reset if necessary. In the Correct Answer Setup, click to select correct responses and specify a maximum number of selections for students. To enable partial scoring for correct responses, select Partial Match. Finally, preview the item and save the work when done.
