Why cant I highlight a line in PDF?

If you cannot select text at all (no matter how hard you try), your PDF document is likely a scanned PDF. You can only add Text Markup annotations (Highlight, Underline, Strikeout) to real text, not to image of text. You need to run OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to turn images of text into real text.

How do you add initials to a PDF field?

To add your initials: From the left panel, select your initial, move over to the field where you want to add it, and then click to place the signature. Else, from the Quick actions toolbar, select and then select your initial. Your initials appear in the field.
