But every time youre looking for a different topic you have to go back to the beginning, find a table of contents and then navigate to the section youre looking for. Wouldnt it be nice if you could just have the table of contents always in view, no matter where you are in the document. Fortunately, there is a solution for this and its called Bookmarks. Youll see them in the navigation pane on the side here. By clicking on a bookmark, you can easily jump to that section without having to go back to the table of contents. Select Document Header Footer Add In the Add Header and Footer tool, specify text and formats for headers and footers in your document. Use the Previews to make sure the text, fonts, and layout are as you want them for your document.
