In this YouTube tutorial, the speaker introduces a feature of Salesforce that allows for dynamic control of field visibility on the record detail page based on certain conditions. This feature enables users to hide or display specific fields depending on their needs. The speaker discusses a scenario where a property object is used, and the visibility of fields is controlled based on the property type (for sale or for rent). They mention that this cannot be achieved directly through page layout. Instead, they demonstrate how to accomplish this using the Lightning App Builder. The tutorial aims to guide viewers on how to edit the page and implement this functionality.

To hide text in CSS, you can use the display: none; property. This will completely remove the text from the page, making it invisible to the user.
The defines a hidden input field. A hidden field lets web developers include data that cannot be seen or modified by users when a form is submitted.
In report design view, right-click the report item and open its Properties page. To select an entire table or matrix data region, select in the data region to select it, right-click a row, column, or corner handle, and then select Tablix Properties. Select Visibility.
Hiding a row can be done in an expression for the Row Visibility property. Select the entire row and right click to access Row Visibility. In this window, you can Show or hide based on an expression. Clicking the fx button opens the expression window.
The solution to this I found was simple: Select the textbox and right-click Textbox Properties Click on the Visibility tab. Toggle on the radio button Expression and either paste the expression (=IIF(Globals! RenderFormat.Name = EXCELOPENXML OR Globals! Click Ok
You can hide a TextBox in a RDLC using a visibility formula. If you want to hide any textbox in RDLC, you can do this using the visibility formula as below. Right-click on the TextBox and select TextBox Properties. From the Properties window select Visibility and click on Show or hide based on an expression.
Then we select the PTO column, right-click and select Column Visibility, and edit the expression to =IIF(Parameters! IncludePTO. Value=Yes, False,True). This expression means that when the parameter value is Yes, the column is not hidden, otherwise it is hidden.
