Launch System Preferences from your Macs Dock, from the Applications folder, or from the Apple menu bar ( - System Preferences). Select the Language Region preference option. In the General tab, uncheck the box next to Live Text: Select Text in Images.
You can add, copy, or delete text boxes in your Microsoft Office for Mac applications. A text box lets you add text anywhere in your file. For example, you can create pull quotes or sidebars that call attention to important information. On the Insert menu, click Text Box.
Click the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press Delete. Note: Make sure the pointer is on the border of the text box and not inside it.
To delete a text box, click it (a blue outline appears around it), then press the Delete key on your keyboard. If the blue outline doesnt appear, click outside the box to deselect the text, then click the text once to select its text box.
How do I remove the little plus sign in the text box? Enlarge the text box, reduce the font size or choose a different font. The + means there is more content than can fit in the current container. Enlarge the text box, reduce the font size or choose a different font.
To delete a text box, click the text in the box, then press the Delete key on your keyboard. You can also link a text box to another text box to accommodate overflow text.
Click the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press DELETE. Make sure that the pointer is not inside the text box, but rather on the border of the text box. If the pointer is not on the border, pressing DELETE will delete the text inside the text box and not the text box.
