They are very likely informally termed tautonyms or as the Wikipedia page tells me, linguistically called reduplicants. Theres a page full of people with reduplicated names including: Jos Jos
Because their parents decided named them after their surname. Or because they were named something and later ended up marrying (or their mother married) someone with the same name as a surname.
What are the odds of someone having the same first and last name as you? Zero. No one else in the world shares my first and last name.
Yes you can. You can have 2 names or 4 names too. There really arent many rules about naming a child. I grew up with a guy whose first, middle, and last name (surname) were the same.
Click on the dropdown underneath Transform, then search for and select Split Text. Now youll see the settings for splitting text: Input: The actual thing you want the formatter step to split. Separator: The character or word separator you want the formatter step to split your text on.
Surnames can be shared between unrelated people without a biological relationship. Just because two people share the same does not mean they are related. There are many common surnames.
Select Zapiers app Formatter, then Text. Next, choose Split Text under the Transform Field. Under Input select Full Name. Then type [:space] to indicate that the break between fields should happen when there is a space in the text.
Surnames primarily come from occupations (e.g. Smith), locations (e.g. Kingston), or first names (e.g. Johnson). Unrelated people can have the same occupation, live in the same location (or in multiple locations with the same name), or have ancestors with the same first names.
split() will spit out a list that looks like this [firstname, lastname] . We dont need to use the first name so we can use indexing to select the lastname.Explanation Break the first and last name apart using . split() Isolate the last name using a negative index. Create a new list of last names using . append()
