A packing slip is a document that includes the complete list of items included in a package. Packing slips include SKU numbers, weights, dimensions, and the number of units that are used by shipping departments to determine what inventory needs to be sent out to accurately complete an order.
A packing slip is a document used to itemize the products in a package. It is placed on the inside of the package for customer reference. Alternatively, a shipping label is placed on the outside of the package and used by the carrier and shipment company to ensure the product is delivered to the destination.
To add product images to your packing slips, go to the Packing Slip Template in your template settings. In the template, youll first create a space for the image and then add the [Image URL] field replacement to the appropriate spot.
Add Scan to View Barcodes to Packing Slips Go to Account Settings. Select Printing from the left-hand sidebar, then choose Printing Setup. Find the row for Packing Slips and click Document Options. Ensure the box to include Scan to View barcodes on packing slips is checked and click Save Changes.
Go to Account Settings. Select Templates then choose Packing Slips from the left-hand sidebar. Find the packing slip you wish to add a barcode to and click Edit. A window will then display with an HTML editor.
What should a packing slip include? Shipping address, order date, and contact info. Itemized list of the shipped items. Itemized list of out-of-stock items. Quantity of each item. SKU or UPC of each item. Slip number or PO number.
Go to Account Settings. Select Templates then choose Packing Slips from the left-hand sidebar. Choose whether you will edit an existing template, copy an existing template, or create a New Packing Slip Template (this is a blank template with no pre-existing editable code).
Add Scan to View Barcodes to Packing Slips Select Printing from the left-hand sidebar, then choose Printing Setup. Find the row for Packing Slips and click Document Options. Ensure the box to include Scan to View barcodes on packing slips is checked and click Save Changes.
