hi Im Megan with IC Evy and I would like to show you how to assign coursework to your students by changing the visibility settings and I see Evy once you have your course set up and your students are enrolled it is easy to adjust what students see on their account and assign coursework by adjusting the visibility settings lets take a look at how to do this first lets open the course were wanting to assign coursework from by clicking on the view icon next to the course name now by default when you create a course in ICV all of the lessons and materials are made visible to students so right now since none of the visibility settings have been altered for the course all of the lessons and their associated materials are visible to students registered in the course I am going to open another browser window with the student version so you can see how changing the settings on the teacher license impacts what the student sees so lets go back to the teacher version and make some changes to

Select the assignment you want to hide. Select Hide from the 3-dot context menu menu. Click Hide in the popup message. The assignment will be hidden from your assignment list.
By default, the policy is set to automatic for the course, which means students see their grade as soon as it is entered for assignments. When the courses posting policy is changed to manual, grades are hidden from students and remain hidden until the instructor posts grades for a particular assignment.
