Use and Bypass Required Fields For each required field in Salesforce, deselect the required field option. Once the validation rule page opens, add a Rule Name and then add an Error Condition Formula.
You can find the Field Label Visibility dropdown under the Appearance tab in your Gravity Form field. Set it to Hidden to hide the field labels.
Setup Customize Leads Page Layout Edit removes the fields from the Detail page layout.
All you have to do now is find the field youd like to hide and click, hold, and drag it up to the box of fields at the top of the page (so that you see the green ✅ appear), then release. And youre all set, the field is now hidden from the page layout!
To eliminate the Company field requirement on Leads Go to Setup | Customize | Leads | Page Layouts. Click Edit next to the Page Layout name. Click on the wrench icon for the Company field. Deselect the Required checkbox and click OK. Save the Layout.
All you have to do now is find the field youd like to hide and click, hold, and drag it up to the box of fields at the top of the page (so that you see the green ✅ appear), then release. And youre all set, the field is now hidden from the page layout!
The standard Close Date field cannot be removed from any page layout for the Opportunity object, nor can the Required property be removed.
In Classic: Go to Setup | Customize | Leads | Page Layouts. Click Edit next to the Page Layout name. Click on the wrench icon for the Company field. Deselect the Required checkbox and click OK. Save the Layout.
