Checkboxes are for selecting one or several options in a list, while radios are for selecting one option from many.
Just cover them with another div whose color matched with the background. This will hide the radio buttons and still your radio buttons will work on clicks of their labels. Hope that helps.. Or else you can work without radio buttons also.
Checkboxes and radio buttons are elements for making selections. Checkboxes allow the user to choose items from a fixed number of alternatives, while radio buttons allow the user to choose exactly one item from a list of several predefined alternatives.
An asp:radiobuttonlist creates a group of radiobuttons that ensures when one is selected, the others are deselected whereas asp:radiobutton is not within a group and therefore cannot be deselected by clicking other radio buttons.
When should you use radio buttons or checkboxes? This relies entirely on what question you are asking. If you want your users to select multiple options, use checkboxes. If you want your users to select only one option, use radio buttons (or another alternative).
How to make radio buttons invisible .form-radio { display : none; } .form-radio { margin-left: 20px; }
the difference between checkboxes and radio buttons: checkboxes are used when the user can select one or more options, and. radio buttons are used when the user can choose only one of two or more options.
# Show/Hide an element on Radio button Selection using JS Add a click event handler to all input elements of type radio . Each time a radio button is selected, check if it is the button that should show the element. If it is, set the display property of the hidden element to block .
In PDF forms, Radio buttons and Checkboxes (Figure 1 below) share many characteristics. In fact, as will be shown here, they are practically the same thing. There are some minor differences, but the only real difference is that checkboxes turn both on and off when clicked, whereas radio buttons only turn on.
Radio buttons and checkboxes are both elements for making selections in online forms. As a common practice, they are used interchangeably and thus sometimes incorrectly. Though they both display a list of options for users to select, they are different in appearance and use.
