hey guys this is chris jordan with omnideck i want to thank you for taking a quick look at this video were going to talk about how our customers are using omni deck for employee onboarding and we see this in two different flares the first which is more of a natural onboarding process where you know theyre going to start in the next couple of days we want to send them an invitation to the import to the employee new hire portal we want them to fill out our existing maybe you know 10 20 pages as far as our onboarding packet goes and then get them successfully onboarded and routed around and reviewed uh through maybe a checklist internally we also have clients that do like kind of quick hire or on the job uh hires so thats something that we have to do via kind of a the smartphone or the tablet where they can kind of ask a series of questions some some quick onboarding questions and then we can get that employee set up so they can get a paycheck and then ultimately we have enough data to

Go to SAP SuccessFactors Learning administration and then go to System Administration Custom Fields. Under Custom Fields, select the type of custom field that you want to create. You select where this data is stored. For example, if you select User, then youre creating a custom field for the user entity.
Resolution From the Menu select Edit then Calculated Columns. Create a new Calculated column with the desired name (e.g Employee Status) and Add the field you would like the data from. Save and display the Calculated Column. Make sure the New column reflects the desired result by comparing it with the existing field.
Procedure Go to Recruiting. Go to Candidate Summary page and select the candidates you want to initiate onboarding. Under Action, select Initiate Onboarding. A confirmation popup appears with a list of selected candidates. Select Confirm.
Resolution Open the Child object and select Take Action - Make correction. click Details on the field of tye Generic Object that you require the change to be done. Set uo the Field Criteria as per screenshot below.
Go to Admin Center Manage Business Configuration. For the field you want to hide there is 2 options you can select; Set the Enabled dropdown to No.

Add New Employee. Add New Employee for Fixed Term.Set the block type: For the block type of HRIS Element, select the corresponding Employee Central HRIS block. For the block type of Configuration UI, select the corresponding MDF Block Type. Add additional blocks as needed.
