Delete a page break Select the worksheet that you want to modify. On the View tab, in the Workbook Views group, click Page Break Preview. You can also click Page Break Preview. Do one of the following: On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Breaks. Click Remove Page Break.
Click the worksheet that is displayed with a sheet background. Make sure that only one worksheet is selected. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Delete Background.
Please do as follows: Click the File Options (or Excel Options) to open the Excel Options dialog box. In the Excel Options dialog box, please click the Advanced in left bar, and check or uncheck the Show sheet tabs option in the Display options for this workbook section; Click the OK button.
It looks like a watermark, but dont worry -- that text wont appear on your printed worksheet. That Page 1 is a sign that you are in Page Break Preview, instead of Excels Normal view or Page Layout view.
Right-click a sheet tab, and then click Select All Sheets on the shortcut menu. On the Home tab, click Format under Visibility Hide Unhide Hide Sheet.
