hey guys welcome back again hope you are doing well im mj in this video ill show you how to hide first page number in ms word so lets start i will try to make it simple and easy so here i have one document and i have a lot of pages here like one two three four five so i dont want to show the page number on the first page i want to show the page number from the second page so lets see how to do this the simple thing is uh just go to insert here and then click on page number okay and choose the page number where you want to put like top insert uh bottom so i will take the top in the center okay so here you can see the page number is up here you can uh choose your font size of config for easy view i will take the turn the font size and make it bold okay so here the page number is started but it is still appearing on the fifth page number one okay one two three so i want to just remove from the first page so for this after insert the page number click anywhere uh on the page number if

Go to Insert Header Footer. SelectOptions on the right side, and then select Different First Page. Select Options again, and then select Remove Page Numbers. To see your page numbers and confirm deletion of the number from the first page, go to View Reading View.
Scroll down and click on Index and Tables. Select the Table of Contents tab in the dialog box that opens. Uncheck Show Page Numbers. This will remove your page number.
On the Insert tab, click the Page Number icon, and then click Page Number. Select a location, and then pick an alignment style. Word automatically numbers every page, except designated title pages.
Remove the page number from the first page Go to Insert Header Footer. SelectOptions on the right side, and then select Different First Page. Select Options again, and then select Remove Page Numbers. To see your page numbers and confirm deletion of the number from the first page, go to View Reading View.
