When you change a check to become Tax Exempt, Toast will prompt for the Tax Exempt ID. To make a check Tax Exempt, select the Tax Exempt option from the overflow menu. You will then be prompted to enter in a Tax Exemption Number.
You dont have to be a Toast POS Customer! In Toasts back-end, using the navigation layout on the left side of your screen, navigate to the Menus section. Under the Menu Management section, select Tax Rates Setup. To set up a new tax, select + Add. On the setup page youll have options to configure this Tax.
Mask while printing to File Cabinet CS Choose File. Select Print Returns. Mark Preparer copy and File Cabinet CS. In the Preparer copy dropdown, choose Preparer copy with field masking. Click Print/To Cabinet. Note: The fields that are masked are selected in the section above labeled Field masking when printing.
