To unhide a column, right-click on the title of the column to the right of where you want to insert the column, and choose Unhide from the context menu. Then select the column you want to unhide from the cascading menu of hidden column names, as shown in the figure below.
Right-click the header of the column you want to hide, and choose Hide Column.
When I hide a column, how can I unhide it? To Insert a column, click on the Format menu Insert Column or select Insert column from contextual menu.
Go to the list or library where you want to show or hide columns. , then select Column Settings Show/hide columns. In the Edit view columns pane, check (to show) or uncheck (to hide) the box for the column or columns as needed.
There are certain situations when you cant unhide columns on the left and/or rows at the top and it is not a sheet protection issue. It is also not an unhiding issue. It is caused by Freeze Panes. It depends where you are when you set your Freeze Panes.
Right-click the column header, and then click Hide Fields on the shortcut menu.
Unhide columns Select the adjacent columns for the hidden columns. Right-click the selected columns, and then select Unhide.
