To explicitly set it yourself, go to your profile at the top of Teams and select one from the list. You can also update your status from the command box. Type /available, /busy, /dnd, /brb, /away, or /offline to set your status as Available, Busy, Do not disturb, Be right back, Away, or Offline.
Before sending, click the Response Options top right and select Hide attendee list. Optionally, you can also UNselect Allow forwarding to avoid uninvited people getting into your group session.
Hide a chat Select Chat. to open the chat list. Next to the conversation you want to hide, select More options. Hide. The chat and chat history will be hidden until someone posts a new message to it, and you can always resume an old conversation that youve hidden as well.
Under Select a channel to meet in, select the drop-down arrow to manage your meetings privacy settings: Select None to keep your meeting private. Select a channel to open the meeting to team members.
You cannot hide or remove the Posts and Files tabs from your Microsoft Teams channel.
Tap See all teams, then tap the team the channel is in and tap the circle next to the channels you want shown. To hide, tap the circle again to deselect it.
A user can do this from the Calling app within their Teams client and hovering over the call in their history. Click on the elypsis () that appears and select block from the dropdown. It is only possible to block phone numbers in Teams.
Turn off notifications during meetings and calls Select Edit next to Meetings and Calls and then turn the toggle on for Mute notifications during meetings and calls. To learn more about turning on/off notifications during a meeting, see Mute notifications during a meeting in Teams.
Want to learn more? Swipe left on Chat and then tap Mute, Pin, or Hide. If you change your mind, just tap it again to undo it.
To toggle the sidebar, open a tab in a Teams channel and click the two diagonal arrows found to the right of the tabs. This will hide the sidebar. To show it again, click the diagonal arrows again.
