so you created your new course and you imported stuff from your old course and now when i go to courses in my grade book i see a whole bunch of these unpublished assignments that ill show and clutter things up if you want to turn those off all i have to do is go to the view menu here under grades and check the box or uncheck the box that says unpublished assignments that disappears and now you only see current assignment you dont see the old ones and then if you ever need to get those back you can click on it and check the boxes again to make them show up
