Hidden membership means that no one except members and admins can see whos in a group. Its a useful feature if you dont want people poking around to find out whos in a group or distribution list. One thing to be aware of is that once a Microsoft 365 group has hidden membership, it has it forever.
First, make sure to connect to Exchange-Online PowerShell and enable the hidden group membership using the HiddenGroupMembershipEnabled parameter in the New-UnifiedGroup cmdlet. Once you set it up, the groups privacy type will appear as Hidden Membership in the Office 365 admin center.
In an open message, add your e-mail address in the To box. In the Bcc box, add the distribution list. Type your message and click Send.
