so im going to continue talking about onboarding and one more component actually there are more components im going to cover but today i want to cover the welcome packet on the first day of a new hire the new hire should receive a welcome packet or a folder full of valuable information within this it should they should have there should be a welcome letter a contact list a team members list of names numbers contact information a list of systems and usernames and passwords that theyre going to be using along with any benefits information hr employee paperwork if they havent completed that already also a schedule so make sure that they have a schedule of what their first week looks like or if they have a training schedule for the next two weeks the longer you can plan out if you can plan out what the next month is going to look like that is fabulous but definitely needed for the first week so they know the expectations of what theyre supposed to do that first week and they can jump
