in this video I will show you how to expose the hidden details in your images using Photoshop once we have the image we will be working with the first step is to duplicate the layer select a background layer click layer then click duplicate layer name the layer expose then click OK next we are going to adjust the shadows and highlights but before doing that I am going to convert the expose layer to a smart object by converting the layer to a smart object you can go back in and adjust the settings if needed select the expose layer then click layer select smart objects then click convert to smart object would they expose layer still selected click image select adjustments then click shadows and highlights once the shadows and highlights menu comes up I am going to change the shadow amount to 19% the highlights amount to 44% and the mid to 55% if you dont see an option for mid tune make sure to show more options is checked then click OK you can already see the difference but we can bring
