In the PivotTable Options dialog box, click the Layout tab. In the Layout area, check or uncheck the Allow multiple filters per field box depending on what you need. Click the Display tab, and then check or uncheck the Field captions and filters check box, to show or hide field captions and filter drop downs.
If you want to completely remove filters, go to the Data tab and click the Filter button, or use the keyboard shortcut Alt+D+F+F.

Start Power Pivot in Microsoft Excel add-in and open a Power Pivot window. To hide an entire table, right-click the tab that contains the table and choose Hide from Client Tools. To hide individual columns, open the table for which you are hiding a column, right-click the column, and click Hide from Client Tools.
