Delete an Assignment Activity from the Gradebook First turn on the editing by clicking on the gearwheel in the upper right corner of the main page, selecting the Turn editing on option. Locate the item and in the Edit drop-down, select the Delete option. Confirm your deletion.
Hide/Show an Activity, Resource, or Section On your course page, click Turn editing on (green pencil icon. To hide an item, under the Resource, Activity, or on the right of the Section you want to hide, click Edit, then Hide. To un-hide an item, next to the Resource, Activity, or Section, click Edit, then Show.
From the Course Management panel, under Grading, select Gradebook setup. The gradebook will open to the Gradebook setup. In the row for the grade item or category you wish to hide, under the Actions column, click Edit, a drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, select Hide.
By default, the policy is set to automatic for the course, which means students see their grade as soon as it is entered for assignments. When the courses posting policy is changed to manual, grades are hidden from students and remain hidden until the instructor posts grades for a particular assignment.
