Proposals submitted to NSF must be submitted via use of Research.gov, Grants.gov, or the Broad Agency Announcement Management (BAAM) System. See the relevant funding opportunity for additional information.
On the Proposal Forms page, click on Proposal Access for SPO/AOR. NOTE: RSSP will never submit a proposal before you are ready. Allowing submission access at the beginning of the proposal process enables your Grant Specialist to submit when you are ready and alleviates the last-minute rush.
To initiate a proposal withdrawal, the PI, SPO, or AOR can navigate to their Submitted Proposals list, select the appropriate proposal for withdrawal, and click on the Withdraw Proposal button in the Proposal Actions section of the main proposal page.
To change your primary organization, sign in to Research.gov by clicking Sign In located at the top of the screen. Click on View My Roles located on the left side of the screen. In the Active Roles table, locate the organization you wish to designate as your primary organization.
Open the Research.gov homepage and select Sign In at the top of the page. After entering credentials, you will be navigated to the Research.gov My Desktop page. Click the Prepare and Submit Proposals link under Proposals.
To do the budget revision once you are in the PFU menu, you must go to the budget, make the necessary changes, and then upload the budget impact statement if it applies. Withdrawals are not yet available in Research.gov. If a withdrawal is needed on a proposal prepared in Research.gov, please docHub out to DSP.
Research.gov creates the new proposal and assigns a proposal Temporary ID Number. The proposal main page opens for the PI to upload proposal documents and to perform proposal actions such as adding co-PIs and OAUs and sharing access with SPOs and AORs.
