So in order to understand what were going to go through in this video, well do a quick history lesson here. And what weve done in the past is lets say, for example, we dont want anyone changing the wages, right? So well highlight column E, go to data, and just do Protect sheets and ranges. But what this does is this protects who can edit it, not who can see it. So I have a lot of users asking on these videos in the past, basically, how can we provide another level of protection? And they want to have users in this spreadsheet, but they want to completely hide certain data from them. And you may have tried to come down here, left-click on this, and do Hide sheet. In the Print dialog box, please go to the Print range section, and then check the Hide details of private appointments box.
Hide and unhide calendars on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac Select View Show Calendar List. Select or deselect the calendars checkbox in the Calendar list to show or hide a calendars events. Create or open the appointment or meeting that you want to make private. On the Meeting or Appointment tab, click Private.
Click the three dots to the right of the calendar name. Click Sharing and Permissions. Next to People in my organization select Not Shared to not share any information, or click Can view when Im busy for others to see times you are available. This does not allow viewers to see meeting details, only availability.
