hey everyone uh today were going to talk about uh what i think is a pretty common use case in the gen and cpq world um that isnt in gens uh documentation anywhere and that is how to conditionally hide a column in your products table so i have an example quote up here and what ive done is ive added a few custom fields called include list price and include discount and my template has four columns uh total here uh product unit price discount and total price youll notice there is some xpath language here which ill explain a bit more so first off were going to generate the document with these boxes checked so im going to go ahead and create order form which is my custom button for the gen template that ive created i will hit send with signature and then im going to fill in the standard path information here for my recipients put in a customer and myself as a signatory here and then im going to move on to the prepare and send step which will allow me to preview this document

A Salesforce Quote Object denotes a Customers Sales Quotes. A Sales Quote is a formal offer of your Products or Services to a particular Customer Detailing. The Salesforce Quote Object generally lists all aspects of the Sales Offering like Product or Service Cost, Warranty Terms, Maintenance Terms, etc.
To modify a quote template in salesforce go to Set up. Now Go to Customize=Quotes=Settings. When Settings in Quotes are selected a new window will be opened where we have to select the check box to enable quotes in salesforce. Select Save Button.
To create a new customized quote template: In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects Quotes. Click the Customized quote templates tab. Click Customize quote template. Hover over the template you want to use and click Choose.
Add Fields to the Quote Line Editor Field Set From Setup, enter Objects , and then click Objects. Click Quote Line. From the Field Sets related list, find Line Editor, and then click Edit. Add or remove fields from the field set.
Firstly, log in to your Salesforce Org. Secondly, go to Setup and Enter Templates in the Quick Find Box. In addition, click on Quote Templates in the Lightning Experience. Further, click on the New button and select a template (Example-Standard Template).
Switch to Salesforce Classic and navigate to the Documents tab. Click New, set the field values, and select the file to upload. On the detail page, check the Externally Available Image field, which indicates that the logo is available for HTML email templates (for letterheads). Click Save.
Create a Quote PDF by Selecting a Template Do one of the following. If youre using Lightning Experience, click Create PDF, and then choose a template from the dropdown list. Generate a preview by clicking Create PDF. Save the PDF to the Quote PDFs related list by clicking Save to Quote.
Required Editions Go to the quote term where you want to add a display condition. In the Use Conditions related list, click New Term Conditions. Use the term condition fields to create a logical condition. Salesforce CPQ evaluates this condition whenever it generates a quote document that references this quote term.
The template section field Conditional Print Field can contain a value for any quote field. When you create a quote document, Salesforce CPQ checks the value of Conditional Print Field. Your quote document includes the template section only if the value of Conditional Print references these types of quote fields.
Create and Manage Quotes Click New Quote on the Quotes related list on an opportunity. The Subtotal , Discount , Total Price , and Grand Total fields show values from the opportunity. Complete the fields. Save your changes. A unique quote number is added.
