Students can see comments from the instructor on the Grades page. Most comments are located in the assignment sidebar. If you marked up an assignment directly in an assignment submission using inline comments or annotations, the student can use the View Feedback button in assignments submission details page.
Select the assignment you want to hide. Select Hide from the 3-dot context menu menu. Click Hide in the popup message. The assignment will be hidden from your assignment list.
When you leave a submission comment (sometimes called an assignment comment), it is visible only to people who have the ability to grade assignments. This means that your instructor(s) can see the comments, but other students cannot.
Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In. Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.com. Learn more. Click the class. Point to the post or comment. Click More Delete. Delete to confirm.
Canvas : Editing, Duplicating, or Deleting an Assignment In Course Navigation, click the Assignments link. Click the Assignment name and choose the Edit button. Make changes to the assignment and click the Save Publish button or Save button depending on your preference.
Class comments is a setting that you can control in the settings cog wheel at the top right corner. If you dont want the students to comment, you will have to select Teachers can only post and comment in the Stream section of the settings page. I am attaching a reference for you.
If you want to hide feedback and grades on an assignment, just disable the Show feedback grades option at the top right. With this option disabled, students can still submit and critique videos, but they wont see any feedback (comments, markers, etc.) or grades (including rubrics).
Note: Depending on your institutions preference, comments may already be disabled in the course. Open Settings. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link. Open Course Details. Click the Course Details tab. Open More Options. Click the more options link. Disable Comments on Announcements. Update Course Details.
