And if I hover the mouse cursor over any of the cells that contain a red triangle, I can read the comment. But I can only read the comments one at a time and sometimes you might want to have all of the comments on display. In order to do this you need to click the Review tab on the Ribbon, and notice theres a Comments group. And Im going to click Show All Comments. And you can see that all three comments are now visible at the same time, but theyre difficult to read because they overlap. And theyre also obscuring all of the contents of the worksheet. Hiding Comments in Google Docs If you want to temporarily hide comments in a Google Docs file from view, youll need to switch to a different document mode. While the Editing and Suggesting modes will display comments to the right of any document page, you can hide comments by switching to Viewing mode instead.
To begin, resolve the comment by clicking on the Tick mark in the comment box. This will hide the comment from the document. To restore the comment, click the Comment icon at the top right of the page, just to the left of the Share button. Click the three dots and choose Re-open to bring the comment back up.
In case you want to remove comments from the entire worksheet, follow the below steps: Click on the gray triangle at the top-left of the Excel application. This will select the entire worksheet (or you can use Control + A + A) Click the Home tab. In the Editing group, click on Clear. Click on Clear Comments.
To select multiple comments, hold down the Shift key and click on the comments that you want to delete. Then, press the Delete key on your keyboard and all of the selected comments will be deleted.
