From the Course Management panel, under Grading, select Gradebook setup. The gradebook will open to the Gradebook setup. In the row for the grade item or category you wish to hide, under the Actions column, click Edit, a drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, select Hide.
Move Grade Items Categories Select Course Management (black gear icon. On the Course Management panel, under Grade, select Gradebook Setup. At the left of the Grade item or Category you want to move, click Move ( Click any of the dashed rectangles to move the item to that location.

From the Course Management panel, under Grading, select Gradebook setup. The gradebook will open to the Gradebook setup. In the row for the grade item or category you wish to hide, under the Actions column, click Edit, a drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, select Hide.
To show the gradebook to students (each student only sees his/her own grades, not the grades of others) faculty can: click on Settings Edit Settings under the Course administration heading. within the Appearance section, select Yes from the pull-down menu next to Show gradebook to students
Delete a Gradebook Category from the Gradebook On the Gradebook setup page, locate the Actions column. Click on the Edit drop-down menu for the item you wish to delete. Choose the Delete option. Moodle will ask you to double-check and verify that you wish to delete the gradebook category and everything in it.
Guide Navigate to the Gradebook: in the Settings block, under Course Administration, click Gradebook setup. Click Setup and display the view for Gradebook setup. Click Edit for the item or category. On the Grade category or Grade item page, click Show more and select the Hidden check box.
