Just go to Setup- add on the quick search Forecasts -- forecast settings - click on the Enable tick box, that should be clicked, and it will be back to disable.
Enable Custom Field Forecasts in Collaborative Forecasts From Setup, enter Forecasts Settings in the QuickFind box, then select Forecasts Settings. Enable up to four forecast types. If you dont have forecast types enabled, click Add a Forecast Type.
Calculate your sales forecast Multiply your average monthly sales rate by the number of months left in the year to calculate your projected sales revenue for the rest of the year. Add your total sales revenue so far to your projected sales revenue for the rest of the year to calculate your annual sales forecast.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Forecasts Settings , and then select Forecasts Settings. If Collaborative Forecasts isnt enabled, enable it, and then save your changes. Create and activate at least one forecast type. Select manager adjustments, owner adjustments, or both.
Enable Users in Collaborative Forecasts Search for Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users. Click edit for each user that you want to enable the settings. Under General Information Section, select Allow Forecasting Checkbox. Save your changes.
Enter Forecasts Hierarchy in the Quick Find box from Setup, then select Forecasts Hierarchy. Click Enable Users, and then move users between the Available Users list and Enabled Users list.
In Object Manager, select Account Product Forecast. In Fields Relationships, select New. Select the data type for the custom field and click Next.
Customizable Forecasts rolls up multiple forecasting categories into a single category while Collaborative Forecasts does not. For example, do you consider your Commit category to be all Opportunities that are almost closed plus those that are closed, or is it only those that are almost closed?
