Use Alt+F9 again to toggle off the display of the field codes. If you do not want the text to be in a field, you can unlink the field by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F9 when you have the text selected.
How to Turn Off Markup in the Print Settings Click File in the menu and select Print. In the drop-down box directly below Settings, you should see the pages you can print. Click that arrow to display the settings. Go toward the bottom of the list and pick Print Markup to deselect it.

Press Alt+F9 to turn off field codes currently on the page. To turn off a field code for a specific field, click on the field and press Shift+F9 instead. Click the Office button and select Word Options to turn off field codes by default.
Hide and show form fields Go into edit your form. Open the Field Options for the field that you want to conditionally hide or show. Select Use Conditional Logic and add any criteria that you want. Now, when the user meets the criteria in the conditional logic, the hidden field will appear.
You hide the field, by opening its property dialog, go to the General tab, and then change visible to hidden in the field property dropdown. That should do it. If you want to be double sure, make the field read-only as well. Hope this can help.
In the Forms Designer, right-click the field, and then click Properties. Click the Validation tab. Select or clear the Include this field for Printing and Save As check box.
