Record Locking Customization Locking disables future changes to a record. Locked forms will display the time and who locked it. All fields on the form will be disabled as read-only until someone with Lock/Unlock privileges unlocks the form.
If Edit survey responses user rights are enabled, you will see an Edit Response option at the top of the screen when you open the survey. Clicking on this will allow you to edit survey responses and change the completion status. 2. After edit response is enabled, you can enter data on the form.
To Edit an existing record, click on the dropdown and choose the record you want to edit. You can also add and edit records from the Record Status Dashboard. Once you have a new record, you can add data for a record by clicking on the circle across from each corresponding instrument, and below each event.
Configuration. Access Manage External Modules section of your project, click on Form Render Skip Logics configure button, and save settings in order to show or hide instruments ing to your needs. The top level entry in the configuration is a Control Field.
For example, to hide the choice Monday (1), you would have @HIDECHOICE=1, but if you wanted to additionally hide Tuesday (2), you would have @HIDECHOICE=1,2. NOTE: If the hidden choice has already been selected for a given record, then the choice will not be hidden on the survey or form for that record/event.
Survey Status At the top of the Survey Settings page there is a box to make your survey Active or Offline. Surveys will default to Active status when you enable an instrument as a survey. If you wish to take your survey offline, you can change this drop down to Survey Offline.
If you have the user rights that allow you to delete REDCap, then youll be able to delete individual files and records as needed. As a fist step, go to the record status dashboard to see your data. Then click on the record you would like to delete.
To prevent duplicate records from being created, navigate to your database, select Options Edit (Database Actions), choose No under the Allow Duplicates? option, and click Save Changes. Note: This setting works in conjunction with the Chk Dup feature.
