The dropdown arrow icon in input can be hidden by setting the CSS appearance: none. The CSS appearance property allows to suppress the native appearance of an element (which may vary with operating system), so that CSS can be used to restyle it.
Definition and Usage The tag defines a visible heading for the element. The heading can be clicked to view/hide the details. Note: The element should be the first child element of the element.
You can also make an element so transparent that its invisible using the opacity CSS property. Like visibility: hidden, opacity: 0.0 will leave an empty space where the HTML element is.
It can be easily done by setting the CSS list-style or list-style-type property to none. The list-style-type CSS property is used to set the marker (like a disc, character, or the custom counter style) of a list item element. This CSS property helps us to create the list without bullets.
You can get it to go away by changing the CSS attribute of the marker to not be displayed. So the arrow goes by the name of details-marker and we set its display:none which stops it from being drawn in.
CSS details { background: lightgray; margin-bottom: 5px; } summary { outline: none; /* Hides marker on Chrome */
Hiding an Image in CSS The trick to hiding any element on your web page is to insert either a display: none; or visibility: hidden; rule for that element. The display: none; rule not only hides the element, but also removes it from the document flow.
You can hide the dropdown arrow from the DropDownButton by adding class e-caret-hide to DropDownButton element using cssClass property.
