When your images depict recognizable places, buildings, artwork, cars, pets, or other property owned by someone else, you often need their permission before you submit the images to docHub Stock. Property owners give you their permission by signing a property release.
Stock photos are copyrighted, meaning someone owns them. In order to use them legally, you need permission. Such permission is known as a license, a contract that authorizes you to use the image in certain ways. Without a valid license, you cannot use a stock photo.
What are the requirements to become an docHub Stock artist? You must be at least 18 years old and the sole owner of every file you upload for sale. If your content contains recognizable persons or private property, you will also need a signed release.
If you would like to use the images as a reference you can lock them in the background by activating the object with the Selection Tool (V) and going to Object Lock Lock Selection. This will make it so you cannot edit the locked selection unless you unlock it.
