good morning my names Tom welcome to my workshop hey really quick one on files for years my file is always Nicholson yeah and this is just one of my old pouches that sitting up there I have a couple of fouls out of there but Nicholson made in USA you can see the heat treatment up on there where that tank changed as callers so not sure the exact hardness but as far as what theres the mill bastard have quite a few of these guys but the one I found you know eventually you do wear out files and especially if youre doing something you accidentally have some heat treated still and youre gonna clean off an edge and you realize oops itll take off the teeth of your file if you try on a really hard material but over time I gotta replace you know my missing ones and what shows up these days from Nicholson different tools so that beats back ten years ago when Cooper bottomed out so anyway these days most Nicholson files unfortunately are made in Mexico they could have the same quality but th
