lets turn on group messaging on your iPhone now if you want to send a group text message to people that dont necessarily have iMessage they might be Android users SMS users you can always turn on that group text messaging so to do that lets just hop into your settings and well scroll down until we get to messages here and tap on that and then again well scroll down and you can see right here is group messaging and its toggled off all I have to do is toggle that on now Ill be able to send and receive any kind of group text messages with people with iPhones or Android phones through iMessage or SMS hope this helps thanks for your time today and Ill see you on the next one

There is generally no limit on the maximum number of messages when it comes to mass texting but some software may not be able to send more than a few thousand text messages at once.

To create a group text message, add up to 7 names or phone numbers. Group messages can have up to 8 participants, including the person who sends the message.
The number of recipients an SMS message can be sent to is determined by the wireless carrier; some carriers may limit the number of recipients to twenty, for example. Note: The number of phone numbers entered is displayed in brackets within the header line.
