if youve recently opened up Microsoft Word or upgraded and noticed that you have no vertical margins although your horizontal margins are showing just fine and no matter what you do such as changing your margins it just doesnt make a difference the margins just wont come back well its likely that a little checkbox got unchecked for you and well just check it back again so go to file and then go to options now options might be in slightly different places depending on the version of word youre using and then you go to display a second one from the top now an older versions of word it might be under the View tab instead of the display tab and then youre gonna look for this setting here show whitespace between pages in print layout view click OK and your margins are back
