If you want to change the style of an individual hyperlink, select it, and then use the options in the Font group in the Home tab to change the style as you would regular text.
In your Word document, click the File tab, then Options. In the left menu, choose Advanced. Under the Show document content section, untick Show field codes instead of their values. Click OK.
Solutions Of Hyperlink Not To Work In Word Check your hyperlink again. Correct the spelling if the text is misspelled. Make sure you copied the link correctly. Select the entire link text from the web page. Make sure the website is authentic. Try to use the address text box in a Word document.
Change an existing hyperlink Right-click anywhere on the link and, on the shortcut menu, click Edit Hyperlink. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog, select the text in the Text to display box. Type the text you want to use for the link, and then click OK.
Chances are good that this weird behavior is an indication that you are seeing the field code for the hyperlink, instead of the result of that field code (just the link itself). Try this the next time you see the weird hyperlink: just move the insertion point somewhere between the two brackets and press Shift+F9.
When its not convenient to have Office automatically create hyperlinks in your document as you type, you can turn them off. In Office 2010 and later: Click File Options Proofing. Click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Clear the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
Check the URL Address Compare the original URL with the address you added for the hyperlink. To ensure you capture the correct address, highlight and copy the full URL from your Web browsers address bar and then replace the faulty hyperlink with the new link.
If you need to do that, click Open in Word. To create a hyperlink, click Insert Link. In the Display text box, type the text that people will click on. To link to a web address, type or paste the address in the Address box.
Hyperlinks arent clickable It may just be plain text with the Hyperlink character style applied. Press Alt+F9 to see if there is an underlying HYPERLINK field code.
Just select the text you want to fix, hold down your Control key and press the Space Bar. CTRL+Q removes all paragraph-level formatting weird indents, line spacing, extra spacing before and after the paragraphs, etc. Again, select the text, hold down your Control key and press the letter Q.
