Select the worksheet. Click the Page Layout tab. To show gridlines: Under Gridlines, select the View check box. To hide gridlines: Under Gridlines, clear the View check box.
In the Open dialog box, select the corrupted workbook. Click the arrow next to the Open button, and then click Open and Repair. To recover as much of the workbook data as possible, pick Repair. If Repair isnt able to recover your data, pick Extract Data to extract values and formulas from the workbook.
From the View tab, Windows Group, click the Freeze Panes drop down arrow. Select either Freeze Top Row or Freeze First Column.
Click a rows number to select it, and drag your mouse to nearby rows if you have more than one blank row side by side. Right-click the number(s) you selected, and choose Delete rows to get rid of them.
To find insufficient color contrast, use the Accessibility Checker. You can also look for text in your spreadsheet thats hard to read or to distinguish from the background. If your spreadsheet has a high level of contrast between text and background, more people can see and use the content.
