howdy folks Charlie with typewriter justice here and today Im revitalizing this extremely nasty extremely grungy totally frozen quiet writer and one of the problems that it had is pretty common to this design there is a theres a little clip that sits right there and holds the paper table on you know because its supposed to hinge back to allow you access to the margins and a lot of the time that little clip will go the way of the dodo and youre left with just the the two little slots there and this thing will just lift off and fly free and thats not ideal and Im pretty much repairing this machine pro bono so Im not gonna do a replacement clip on it but what I am doing is a kind of ghetto trick that works relatively well this particular one has been beat up and these pieces are kind of kind of screwed theyre not in their original shape but if you look right there where that clip is supposed to be youll notice that Ive got a little piece of baling wire that is attached around b
