Go to the Gmail settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner and then select See all settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to find the Signature section. Make sure your signature is selected and not the No signature option.
If you add a signature to your Gmail account only to have it disappear once you click send, it may be set to the hide signatures mode by Gmail. Sometimes, Gmail will hide email signatures by default, so you need to look at the Gmail settings to see if thats not the problem.
To reduce the amount of characters, turn on short links in Profile Settings. If your signature has a long legal disclaimer, use the Read More link and link to an online version of your legal disclaimer to save on characters.
If you cant find your signature in a Gmail message, it might be below the body of the message. Signatures are separated from the message body by two dashes. To show your signature, scroll to the bottom of a message, then click Show trimmed content .
Signature not displaying correctly: Check if any formatting or HTML code in your signature is causing the issue. Simplify the formatting or remove any problematic code. Try using a different web browser or clearing your browser cache.
ing to your description, are you using a default signature? If so, considering that the signature may contain empty characters and be displayed as invalid characters in new messages, please try to remove and recreate the signature(FileOptionsMailUnder Compose messages, click Signatures).
You can put up to 10,000 characters in your signature. Open Gmail. At the top right, click Settings. See all settings. In the Signature section, add your signature text in the box. If you want, you can format your message by adding an image or changing the text style. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
Go to the Gmail signature settings and make sure the No signature option is unchecked. Then check the option below it for your Gmail signature to show up in new emails and replies. Adding a Gmail signature can seem complicated for those of you who have not tried it yet.
