alright so lets begin finding the shape builder tool in our tools bar you can go right over here and select the icon that looks like two circles and an arrow on it you can also use the shortcut shift plus m to activate it to begin i will show you the different modes the shape builder has to offer firstly we have the merge mode for example in my practice file which you can download if you are a member of the channel i have these two shapes placed one on top of the other i will select them both and its important that you select all the shapes affected before activating the shape builder tool so make sure to remember that with my cursor you will see that the shapes are individually shaded in gray if you click and drag over all these shapes you will see that the shapes will then be merged together thus giving us one final shape the extraction mode allows you to extract any section of multiple overlapped shapes here is a quick example all shapes affected and activate the shape builder too

How to solve logs in expressions Identify the base and the power. In a basic log, you can decompose the expression into its related exponential function to simplify. Simplify by multiplying. Apply the process to larger expressions. Use the variable rules.
The two basic log shapes are round and square. Round logs resemble the tree theyre cut from. If theyre prepared by hand, a logsmith runs a drawknife along the surface and removes the bark, leaving rough contour of the tree trunk. Logs that are milled round are uniform but not always perfectly round.
The basic logarithmic function is y = log b x , where x and b are both greater than zero and b 1 . Here is what the graph of a logarithmic function looks like using the common logarithm, y = log x , as an illustrative example.
The graph of y=log base 2 of x looks like a curve that increases at an ever-decreasing rate as x gets larger. It becomes very negative as x approaches 0 from the right.
To flip or reflect the logarithmic graph, the function either flips on the x axis or the y axis. To reflect across the x-axis, multiply the entire parent function by -1: y=-loga(x). To reflect across the y-axis, multiply the independent variable x by -1: y=loga(-x).
In algebraic geometry, a log structure provides an abstract context to study semistable schemes, and in particular the notion of logarithmic differential form and the related Hodge-theoretic concepts.
Most recent answer When you square a natural logarithm, it means you are squaring the result of applying the natural logarithm function to a variable. Mathematically, if we denote the natural logarithm as ln and the variable as x, squaring the natural logarithm would be represented as (ln(x))^2 or ln(x).
The logarithmic curve looks a little like a portion of the downward opening parabola, but it never docHubes a maximum as does the parabola, increasing, however, more and more slowly with increasing x. The exponential curve looks a little like a portion of the upward opening parabola, but increases more rapidly.
